A quick update

I never seem to get a chance to update the blog these days. I seem to be so disorganised lately.

Anyway...

The kitchen has been plasetered at last and looks fabulous although Daithi isn't that impressed with some of the plasterwork. Kieran didn't do the plastering this time, his brother did it instead and the quality of the work isn't as good. It looks ok to me but then Daithi is a perfectionist! My next job is to paint the back door so that they can finish off around the doorway. It has still been very cold but there is a definite shift in the temperature over the last few days so I hope that by the end of the week the dashing will be finished on the outside of the house.

Indi seems to have settled in well although he has developed a worrying problem with strangers coming into the mobile/site. I think it is a mix of dominance and fear and we had a tog trainer out to assess him over the weekend. He is absolutely fine around myself, Daithi and the boys but as soon as someone else arrives he growls, barks and on occasions bares his teeth and has his haunches raised. It is very scary when that happens and the trainer says it is going to take some time to sort the problem out. In the meantime he will be neutered and I will stage a few visitors to the house to get him used to people again. He is such a lovely dog but we have to be able to trust him around people especially if the boys want their friend's over from school.
