I'm sitting on our old big green sofa sipping Moet champagne to celebrate our first night in the house. We said that once the kitchen was plastered we would be moving in and so we have. Actually we were comfortable enough in the mobile and would have probably stayed in there a bit bit longer had I not discovered the underside of Conor's bed covered in mould and fungus! The fact that the boys' health was at risk in the mobile from the damp was the main reason for our sooner than expected move but I'm already feeling at home. Tomorrow we hope to get the toilet connected so that we will only have to use the mobile to shower and cook in.
After almost 4 years of owning the house we finally get to spend the first night in. There is still so much to do but another big step has been taken!
